Elevated road will be built from UP Gate to Ghaziabad: VK Singh

Ghaziabad: Union minister VK Singh on Sunday said elevated road would be constructed from the UP Gate on the Uttar Pradesh-Delhi border to Meerut Mode (T-Point intersection) in Ghaziabad to ease traffic movement.
Singh, who represents Ghaziabad in Lok Sabha, said at a press conference here that the elevated road would be further extended up to Meerut.
He said Lieutenant Governor of Delhi Najeeb Jung had agreed to resolve the border area?jurisdictional disputes between the UP and Delhi authorities, and on widening of Pipeline Road.
He also said the Railway Ministry has given its nod for construction of Rail Over Bridge at Kot Gaon near M M H (PG) College. The construction will start within a span of two months, he added.
Singh, a former Army chief who won the last Lok Sabha polls on a BJP ticket, lauded?the development works done in his constituency in the first 100 days of the new government.
